Editor's note: Following
our submission to the National Office NAACP, of a 55 page resource
document and request for assistance sent on the birth date of civil
rights leader, Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr., January 15, 1997, we
received;
1. A form letter stating the NAACP doesn't know what we are talking
about.
2. Individual members mumbling about support and disappearing.
3. SILENCE
4. Repeated suggestions from the public that the NAACP be dissolved
or acknowledge as already being there.
