PILGRIM HATE
("REDSKIN"A HATE WORD
DEFINED, Cont.)
In 1675, English immigrants on
the Eastern shore of North America described a leader of Native Americans
as
"a dolefull, great, naked,
dirty beast" .
|
The English American enjoyed the receipt
of
bounty paid them for hunting human beings,
"Hunting redskins became for
the time being a popular sport in New England, especially since
prisoners were worth good money,
and the perseonal danger
to the hunters was now very slight."

Redskins is a name of hatred
used to dehumanize any persons because they are Native American. For
half a millennium its concept and application immediately provided
rationalization for any manner of physical and mental torture and
death. This is a well known, historic word of hate fueling crimes
against humanity on the American continent. It is still a hate word
that attacks and slanders every Native American and his family.
